Polyether-modified
heptamethyltrisiloxane-polyether-modified silicone oil
Specification
XJY-207 Polyether-modified
heptamethyltrisiloxane-polyether-modified silicone oil is a commonly used
silicone surfactant and is widely used in agriculture to improve the surface
diffusion effect of pesticides, improve the diffusion performance, and thereby
improve the effectiveness of drugs.
Advantage
1. Super properties of wetness and
expansion
2. Stomatal penetration rate
3. Improve the prevention effect of
pesticides
4. Reduce the spray volume,
5. No harm to human
Application
XJY-207 Polyalkyleneoxide modified
Heptamethyltrisiloxane is a modified trisiloxane silicone surfactant with a
special structure. It has super properties of wetness and expansion as well as
stomatal penetration rate. It can improve the prevention effect of pesticides
and reduce the spray volume, widely used in the fields of pesticides
herbicides, insecticides, acaricides, fungicides, plant growth regulating
agents, and other aspects. XJY-207 has physical inertia, no harm to human
beings or the environment.
XJY-207 Polyether modified silicone,
Polyalkyleneoxide Modified Heptamethyltrisiloxane is an agricultural
super-spreading agent, which can be added to pesticide formulations or
tank-mixed sprays. At 0.1% concentration (WT), the surface tension of water can
be reduced by 20.5mN/m. After mixing with the pesticide solution in a certain
proportion, the contact angle between the spray liquid and the leaves can be
reduced, thereby increasing the coverage of the spray, and XJY-207
Polyalkyleneoxide Modified Heptamethyltrisiloxane spreading agent can absorb
the pesticides through the stomata of the leaves, which is helpful for
improving the efficacy and reducing the pesticides. It is very effective to
reduce the number of pesticides, save costs, and reduce environmental pollution
caused by pesticides.
XJY-207 Polyalkyleneoxide Modified
Heptamethyltrisiloxane can enhance the performance of agricultural chemicals,
especially fungicides, insecticides, water-soluble broad-leaved herbicides, and
plant growth regulators.
Packaging
50kg pails and 200kg drums, Any special
requirement may be negotiated with us.
Storage
XJY-207 Polyalkyleneoxide modified
Heptamethyltrisiloxane is non-dangerous goods, stored in the dry and cool
environment.
Provecta - A Physical Action Adjuvant from
ICB Pharma
2016年9月23日
Adjuvants play significant role in reducing
several problems encountered during spray application. Problems encountered
during pesticide application include: drift, coverage, adherence,
volatilization, penetration, solubility, surface tension, foaming, suspension,
evaporation, stability, incompatibility, alkalinity degradation and odor.
Adjuvants are formulated to minimize
these application problems by buffering, sticking; also by reducing a factors
like foam, spreading, evaporation, emulsifying, drift, volatilization, and
odor. Adjuvants also help highlight where spray has been applied, increasing
compatibility, dispersing, and wetting.
This article discusses a totally new
adjuvant that enhances the efficacy of the formulation through physical
mechanism, which is a completely new and promising approach to the current
problems in the pest control industry.
The product “Provecta” is a unique mixture of polymeric compounds to be combined in the spray tank with
insecticides (toxicants) for more effective treatment. It generates specific
contact action resulting in dehydration and eventual suffocation through the
following mechanisms:
Spreading
When applied it provides quick and even
spreading, helping penetration precisely in the treated surface. It also
increases the likelihood that the toxicant is transferred to the insect by
contact, enhancing the bioavailability of the active ingredient. This is a
crucial parameter when dealing with resistant pest populations harboring in
inaccessible locations, e.g bed bugs.
Immobilization
After application it creates a cross-linked
3-Dimensional network structure on the treated surface, tightly covering all
developmental stages of the pest insects and immobilizing them. This leads to
increased exposure to the toxicant. It also improves the efficacy through
additive effects of the two mechanisms, namely neurotoxic and physical.
Dehydration and/or suffocation
Once applied the formulation completely
penetrates the body surface of pest and fills their spiracles (which have hair
at the opening for filtering and a valve for controlling air flow) either
preventing them from closing or keeping them closed. This leads to dehydration
and suffocation. Both the physical effects eventually kills the insect pest.
Provecta, an effective adjuvant with
physical action against pests may deal with expanding problem of resistance to
insecticides. It also has a number for favorable features such as:
· High efficacy in
controlling numerous pest species.
· The physical mode of
action eliminates the possibility that pests will become resistant to this
specific treatment.·
Synergetic effect results in reduced rate
of insecticide or dosages.
· Perfect at locations
where pesticide application predominates, resulting in development of
resistance.
· Recommended to be used
in tank mix to control resistant populations in not easily accessible locations
i. e. bed bugs.
· Equivalent to the
effects of two different mechanisms added together (neurotoxic and physical).
