The Asia Pacific Tree Climbing Championship (APTCC) provides a competitive but educational opportunity for working arborists in the Asia Pacific region to demonstrate and exchange new climbing techniques and equipment, as well as,safe work practices. The APTCC also increases the interaction between various firms, ISA chapters and Associate Organizations and members, and provides positive public exposure for the profession in that region of the world. The event is managed by the Asia Pacific Tree Climbing Championship Operations Committee.

The winners of this event represent the Asia-Pacific region at the annual International Tree Climbing Championship.

Take Bus E41 from Hong Kong International Airport To Tai Po Po Heung Bridge. Then take Bus 75K from Tai Po Market Railway Bus Terminal to Tai Mei Tuk Bus Terminal and walk for 5 minutes to the Hostel. The journey will take about 2.5 hours and the bus fares for E41 and 75K are $13.9 HK and $5.8 HK respectively.

By taxi: it will take about 1 hour and cost around $400HK.
